Northwind West Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around Philadelphia design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about fare systems. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
