Content Writer - plain-language guides (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Bright Ridge Insurance Group and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about underwriting files. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
