Content Writer - plain-language guides (Omaha, NE)

Harborlight Meridian Legal Group is a Omaha practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about client files. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with client files. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
