Content Writer - plain-language guides (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Forge Energy and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 128 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about usage data. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
