Content Writer - plain-language guides (Nashville, TN)

Lumen Stone Transit Planning Partners is a transit-planning firm in Nashville working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about survey data. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
