Content Writer - plain-language guides (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Northwind River Press and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about bindery work. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
