Content Writer - plain-language guides (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Union Banking Services and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about fraud alerts. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with fraud alerts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
