Content Writer - plain-language guides (Milwaukee, WI)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Meadow Community Partners and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about grant reporting. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
