Content Writer - plain-language guides (Madison, WI)

Bluepeak Cobalt Press is a printer and publisher in Madison serving local and national clients, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about press runs. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
