Fernwood Forge Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Little Rock working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about service alerts. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Little Rock. • We reply to every applicant.
