Content Writer - plain-language guides (Little Rock, AR)

Lumen Thistle Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Little Rock area, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Little Rock. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about school calendars. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Little Rock. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
