Fernwood Junction Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Knoxville. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about treatment plant data. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
