Content Writer - plain-language guides (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Field Water Authority and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 165 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about billing accounts. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Basic SEO knowledge.
