Content Writer - plain-language guides (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Ventures and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of about 848 people based in Houston. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ticketing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with ticketing. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
