Content Writer - plain-language guides (Honolulu, HI)

Harborlight Meridian Legal Group is a Honolulu practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 171 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about court deadlines. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
