Content Writer - plain-language guides (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Nova Nest Community Partners and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of about 708 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about donor records. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with donor records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
