Content Writer - plain-language guides (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Lakeside Transit Planning and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about fare systems. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
