Content Writer - plain-language guides (Grand Rapids, MI)

Clearpath Oak Arts Center is an arts centre in Grand Rapids with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about event logistics. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with event logistics. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
