Content Writer - plain-language guides (El Paso, TX)

Cedar Mill Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in El Paso working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about fare systems. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
