Content Writer - plain-language guides (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Redstone Kestrel Press and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 191 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about proofing. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
