Content Writer - plain-language guides (Des Moines, IA)

Bluepeak Haven Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Des Moines, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of about 411 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about learning materials. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with learning materials. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
