Content Writer - plain-language guides (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Pine Community Partners Associates and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about benefits enrolment. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
