Content Writer - plain-language guides (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Nest Insurance and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about premium billing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
