Content Writer - plain-language guides (Columbus, OH)

Amberfield Iron Press Group prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Columbus plant. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about proofing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
