Content Writer - plain-language guides (Colorado Springs, CO)

Ironwood Union Banking Services Group provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Colorado Springs, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about loan files. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with loan files. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
