Content Writer - plain-language guides (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Linden Legal Group and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. We are a close group and share the work. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about court deadlines. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with court deadlines. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
