Content Writer - plain-language guides (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Health and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about family communication. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
