Content Writer - plain-language guides (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Bright Water Authority and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be plain-language guides. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about treatment plant data. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
