Cedar Beacon Press is a printer and publisher in Birmingham serving local and national clients, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about customer orders. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
