Content Writer - plain-language guides (Baltimore, MD)

Redstone Pine Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Baltimore area, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about meter reading. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
