Content Writer - plain-language guides (Atlanta, GA)

Summit Kestrel Community Partners Group is a nonprofit in Atlanta supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Content Writer to lead our plain-language guides. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about grant reporting. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
