Content Writer - plain-language guides (Atlanta, GA)

Stonegate Rook Press is a printer and publisher in Atlanta serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on plain-language guides. You would join a small organisation of about 52 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about paper stock. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with paper stock. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
