Content Writer - newsletters (San Jose, CA)

Harborlight Junction Water Authority Group is a public water utility serving the San Jose area. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about water quality. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
