Content Writer - newsletters (San Jose, CA)

Redstone Ember Community Partners runs community programmes across San Jose, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about volunteer shifts. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
