Content Writer - newsletters (San Jose, CA)

Foxglove Timber Community Partners is a nonprofit in San Jose supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about benefits enrolment. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Experience with benefits enrolment. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
