Content Writer - newsletters (San Jose, CA)

Cedar Oak Transit Planning helps transport agencies around San Jose design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a large organisation of about 640 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about service alerts. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
