Content Writer - newsletters (Sacramento, CA)

Clearpath Amber Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Sacramento. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about repair requests. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with repair requests. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
