Content Writer - newsletters (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Quarry Energy and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be newsletters. You would join a large organisation of about 580 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about service connections. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
