Content Writer - newsletters (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Nova Beacon Community Partners and adding a Content Writer whose main responsibility will be newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about benefits enrolment. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
