Content Writer - newsletters (Richmond, VA)

Stonegate Beacon Community Partners runs community programmes across Richmond, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about benefits enrolment. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
