Content Writer - newsletters (remote)

Rivermark Stone Transit Planning Group plans bus and rail service for cities around Oakland. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about route schedules. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
