Content Writer - newsletters (remote)

Ironwood Community Partners Group runs community programmes across Des Moines. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a large organisation of about 387 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about food distribution. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with food distribution. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
