Content Writer - newsletters (remote)

Bright Wren Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Birmingham. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about ridership counts. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
