Content Writer - newsletters (remote)

Silverline Umber Civic Services Group works with county and city offices around Honolulu, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about constituent requests. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with constituent requests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
