Content Writer - newsletters (remote)

Greenridge Quarry Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Oakland working with agencies and riders, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. You would join a large organisation of about 416 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about service alerts. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
