Content Writer - newsletters (remote)

Northwind Nest Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Indianapolis, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about waiting lists. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Experience with waiting lists. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
