Content Writer - newsletters (remote)

Amberfield Keystone Arts Center is an arts centre in Oakland with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about exhibitions. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. What we are looking for • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with exhibitions. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
