Content Writer - newsletters (remote)

Northwind Mill Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Virginia Beach, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about service alerts. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. What we are looking for • Strong editing habits. • Curiosity about how things work. • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. Nice to have • Basic SEO knowledge. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
