Content Writer - newsletters (remote)

Lumen Lakeside Arts Center is an arts centre in Des Moines with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Content Writer to take on newsletters. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about school partnerships. • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with school partnerships. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
