Content Writer - newsletters (Providence, RI)

Bluepeak Field Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Providence and nearby communities, and we need a Content Writer to lead our newsletters. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Interview staff and customers and turn what you learn into clear articles. • Follow a style guide and suggest improvements to it. • Keep existing content accurate and easy to find. • Work with subject experts to check facts before publishing. • Write and edit guides, emails and web pages about capital projects. What we are looking for • A portfolio of clear, practical writing. • Curiosity about how things work. • Strong editing habits. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • Basic SEO knowledge. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
